During insulation testing of circuits with electronics, all phase and neutral leads should be connected together during the measurement. This ensures that there is no potential difference between the leads that may damage electronics and similar equipment. With the new Easy-ISO, it is now much easier to make these connections and carry out a measurement. The Easy-ISO set consists of four magnetic probes and a 4-pole lead collected in a “female" plug. With the magnetic probe, the lead automatically holds onto the measuring point (terminal block) without requiring tools or opening clamps. The insulation test is done on a non-energised installation. Disconnect the power, e.g. at the earth fault breaker, and install the Easy-ISO in an appropriate place. Then you can measure immediately.
