With W-DALI, the electrical cable does not need to be replaced, it can be reused for the new lighting. W-DALI transmits all DALI communication between luminaire and DALI controller wirelessly. Compared to running new cabling for DALI, a lot of money is saved due to reduced installation time and simplified planning. Since W-DALI transmits all DALI commands completely transparently in both directions between DALI control unit and luminaire, programming and commissioning a DALI system remains the same as with DALI cable.
