The Shelly Plus Add-On is a small module that can be clicked onto any Shelly Plus unit, adding a wealth of new functionality to the Shelly units. The Shelly Plus Add-On has both digital and analogue input and can be connected to up to five temperature sensors or a single temperature and humidity sensor.

When the Shelly Plus Add-On is added to a Shelly Plus device, it must be activated in the app, after which it is possible to activate the sensors that have been connected to the device. The device supports the following types of devices:

Connection
Shelly Plus Add On does not work standalone. The device will snap into any Shelly Plus device, providing increased functionality to the Shelly Plus device. The Shelly Plus Add On does not need to be wired to the Shelly Plus unit, as it is equipped with pins that automatically connect to the Shelly Plus unit. The two units are galvanically isolated from each other.

Mpress is a battery-free and energy-harvesting blue-tooth switch with one or more push buttons that can be paired to a Casambi network. Mpress can handle 100,000 presses and has a range of up to 15 m indoors under ideal conditions. With Mpress, no power supply or cabling is needed for to send control signals to selected luminaires.

There are also three different ways to mount the switch. Either you do it in an appliance box, or you screw it up against a wall in four corners of the locking plate, or you use the accompanying double-stick sheet to put the locking plate on and press it firmly against a smooth, fine surface. In the package there are two different push button versions. You can choose between a single push button with two poles or double push buttons with a total of four poles.

Mpress push button(s) can control individual luminaires/light sources, groups of luminaires/light sources, all luminaires/light sources in a network, scenes and animations. It is also possible to hold down a push button to dim luminaires/light sources.

Shelly Plus Smoke Alarm is an intelligent and wirelessly connected photoelectric (optical) battery-operated smoke detector that effectively detects and warns of smoke development before the smoke gets hot and the fire has time to develop.

Shellys Plus Smoke can be easily set up and controlled through the Shelly Smart Control app or your preferred smart home system. Shelly devices work 100% locally and only need a local network to work. Shelly can be used alone in the Shelly Smart Control app or with more than 200 partner systems such as Google Home, Amazon Alexa, Home Assistant, Samsung SmartThings, Athom Homey and many more.

Function
The Shelly Plus Smoke Alarm can be easily installed in any home or business. A CR123A battery as power supply is included, which maintains power for more than three years. Using optical technology, the smoke detector is designed to "see" the smoke before it heats up and bursts into flames. This way, you can get a lightning-fast warning through the Shelly Cloud app when smoke occurs, and at the same time, Plus Smoke will also emit a >85 dB light and sound alarm. When the battery level is low, Shelly Plus Smoke will notify you through the Shelly Smart Control app.

Connection
The Shelly Plus Smoke Alarm can be connected to the Internet or the local network on 2.4 GHz WiFi. In addition, the device has built-in Bluetooth, like the rest of the Pro and Plus devices. The device works locally without connection to Shelly Cloud and can also communicate via MQTT, HTTP and WebSocket.

Hardware
The device is equipped with hardware from generation 2, which, among other things, consists of a powerful ESP32 processor. This enables the use of scripting functions for advanced and custom functionality with the device.

ERS Lora is a wireless LoRaWAN® sensor for indoor environments that measures temperature, humidity, light and movement (PIR). The Scandinavian design makes the sensor discreet in offices, public environments and homes. ERS2 requires minimal maintenance thanks to its long battery life (up to 10 years), and the batteries can be easily replaced when needed. The sensor settings, such as sampling rate, data rate, encryption keys, triggers, activation and more, can be quickly configured via NFC with a smartphone or via downlink.

A traffic light function shows when a certain threshold value for temperature, for example, has been reached. The threshold value is adjustable, and you can choose the color, frequency and brightness of the light signal yourself.

Batteries are not included. The product requires 2 x AA 3.6V lithium batteries (ER14505).
