•Wind: with an anemometer, your awning can automatically retract when it starts to blow. Recommended together with Shelly Plus 2PM.
•Soil moisture: add a soil moisture sensor so the irrigation system can automatically start when the grass is too dry. Recommended together with Shelly Plus 1.

Connection
Shelly Plus Add On does not work standalone. The device will snap into any Shelly Plus device, providing increased functionality to the Shelly Plus device. The Shelly Plus Add On does not need to be wired to the Shelly Plus unit, as it is equipped with pins that automatically connect to the Shelly Plus unit. The two units are galvanically isolated from each other.

Note that there are two different Shelly 0/1-10V controls:
•Shelly Dimmer 0/1-10V PM Gen3 (this unit): Works in sourcing mode, meaning it generates its own 1-10V signal. The unit also has a built-in relay for shutdown and power measurement.
•Shelly Plus 0-10V Dimmer: Works in sync mode, which means the device does NOT generate its own 1-10V signal. It can, however, be used to dim on a 1-10V signal, such as a 1-10V controlled lighting fixture.
