The LoRa device has a retry mechanism to ensure that its status is reported to the server and app. The basic “heartbeat" period is 12 hours, and each message from the device is followed by an acknowledgement message from the server. If the device does not receive an acknowledgement, the message is sent again. The retry period depends on whether the last device status was reported successfully or not.

Mpress is a battery-free and energy-harvesting blue-tooth switch with one or more push buttons that can be paired to a Casambi network. Mpress can handle 100,000 presses and has a range of up to 15 m indoors under ideal conditions. With Mpress, no power supply or cabling is needed for to send control signals to selected luminaires.

There are also three different ways to mount the switch. Either you do it in an appliance box, or you screw it up against a wall in four corners of the locking plate, or you use the accompanying double-stick sheet to put the locking plate on and press it firmly against a smooth, fine surface. In the package there are two different push button versions. You can choose between a single push button with two poles or double push buttons with a total of four poles.

Mpress push button(s) can control individual luminaires/light sources, groups of luminaires/light sources, all luminaires/light sources in a network, scenes and animations. It is also possible to hold down a push button to dim luminaires/light sources.

Mpress push buttons can be used and configured via the Casambi application with both Android and iOS devices. Pairing to networks with iOS requires at least version iOS13, which is standard on all modern devices today. The Shelly Plus Add-On is a small module that can be clicked onto any Shelly Plus unit, adding a wealth of new functionality to the Shelly units. The Shelly Plus Add-On has both digital and analogue input and can be connected to up to five temperature sensors or a single temperature and humidity sensor.

When the Shelly Plus Add-On is added to a Shelly Plus device, it must be activated in the app, after which it is possible to activate the sensors that have been connected to the device. The device supports the following types of devices:

•Heating: add two DS18B20 temperature sensors and measure your supply and return temperature.
•Wind: with an anemometer, your awning can automatically retract when it starts to blow. Recommended together with Shelly Plus 2PM.
•Soil moisture: add a soil moisture sensor so the irrigation system can automatically start when the grass is too dry. Recommended together with Shelly Plus 1.
