The AD-36 DL is a presence detector for controlling DALI luminaires. The detector listens to sounds within two different frequency ranges which are analyzed for presence detection. The lighting is turned on by the inaudible "infrasound" with low frequencies 1 - 3 Hz (LF) such as e.g. occurs when a door is opened. The lighting is then kept on by higher sound frequencies 4 - 25 kHz (HF) from footsteps, speech and other sounds. The main function is automatic switching on, dimming and switching off of the lighting when there is presence or when the room is empty.
