Shelly I4 and I4 DC Gen3 are input modules that enable customers to make common switches, push buttons, motion sensors and similar devices smart. Shelly I4 Gen3 has four inputs with four functions per input (1, 2 and 3 short presses and long presses) and enables manual sending of wireless commands to activate or deactivate scenes, send webhooks or perform complex scenarios.The devices can control other Shelly relays, dimmers, sensors or HTTP and MQTT controlled devices.

The Shelly I4 Gen3 is easily configured and controlled via the Shelly Smart Control app or your preferred smart home system. Shelly devices work 100% locally and only require a local network to operate. Shelly can be used alone in the Shelly Smart Control app or with over 200 partner systems such as Amazon Alexa, Home Assistant, Samsung SmartThings, Athom Homey and many more.

•Shelly I4 and I4 DC Gen3 have many uses. The Shelly I4 Gen3 can be powered by 110-230 VAC and the Shelly I4 DC Gen3 can be powered by 5-24 VDC.

For example, Shelly I4 can be used for:
•To make ordinary switches smart
•To make motion sensors smart
•To make smoke detectors with relay output smart
•Shelly I4 DC can be used for low voltage installations and for example converting an old IHC installation to Shelly.

All Shelly WiFi devices have a built-in web server, which means you get a wealth of features that always work. The built-in web server means that Shelly has built-in memory and therefore remembers sunrise, sunset, schedules and more, even when the network goes down. Relays and dimmers work like normal rocker relays and can therefore be used with your usual switches - even without internet. All inputs and outputs are fully programmable and only require local wifi to communicate between devices. However, we recommend having an active internet connection as it opens up even more features.

The Shelly BLU Wall Switch 4 uses Bluetooth technology, which provides lightning-fast reaction time. To connect Shelly Bluetooth sensors and buttons to the network, the device needs a gateway. For this purpose, the battery unit can use any of the Shelly Pro, Shelly Plus or Shelly Gen3 units, or the dedicated Shelly BLU USB Gateway. This means that when you have another Shelly device installed on your WiFi, it will be able to act as an access point for Shelly Bluetooth devices to the network.
