Security module, Vital, only 22.5 mm wide, is the heart of a concept that means that in one and the same safety circuit one can easily install one or several different security components and still achieve safety category 4 according to EN 954-1. Vital is based on a dynamic single channel concept, unlike conventional 2-channel safety relays. Up to 30 dynamic transducers can be installed directly into the safety circuit that is monitored by just one Vital module. Mechanical sensors with connectors can also be linked in and get dynamic function with the help of adaptation unit Tina. Vital has automatic or manual monitored reset, two safety outputs and information output that is both used for recovery indication and for information to the PLC. Test input for monitoring of, for example, contactors, relays and motors can easily be connected up. The relay has removable terminal blocks.

The Eden OSSD is a coded non-contact safety sensor that is used together with a safety relay or a safety PLC. The Eden OSSD consists of two units, Adam and Eve. Maximum safety with fewer units.
Eden OSSD makes it easy to achieve PLe:
- with only one Eden OSSD per protective device, without the need for regular tests (ISO/TR 24119)
- with the option to connect up to 30 Eden OSSDs in series.
The Eden OSSD makes it possible to save on cables and safety relays as you can connect a reset button with indicator light directly to the Adam OSSD-Reset, which in turn monitors the reset function and manages the indicator light. The Eden OSSD's flexible mounting options and its compact size make it easy to place. Its M12 connector simplifies installation and future replacement of the device. The Eden OSSD has comprehensive function indication with LED and information output that facilitates troubleshooting, which leads to reduced downtime. Its large sensing distance provides a better tolerance for vibrations and thus minimizes the risk of accidental stops. Eden OSSD has a high enclosure class in the standard version, IP69K, as well as a wide temperature range, -40 to +70 degrees. This makes it possible to use the Eden OSSD in extreme environments.

Functional description
