Carephone Positioning

Positioning (location) transmitter for preciseindoor positioning. A-POS location beacon is used in combination with DECTterminals with built in positioning feature or portable alarm transmitters toobtain accurate position information in an indoor environment. Can also be usedas a wanderer alert for lone worker protection or dementia alarms.A-POS sends out a very short distant (1-4 meters) radio frequencyidentification signal, the signals received by the built-in receivers in DECThandsets or in the Portable alarm units. When units receive this identificationsignal they automatically forwards the information to COBS Message Server CMSfor further action in the form of an alarm or message.A-POS has connection for a single antenna either Ferrite or Loop, that can beconfigured with unique ID.A-POS can also serve as a "floor indicator" and determine at whatlevel a person, terminal, phone or alarm button is located and in this way keeptrack of units.Wireless surveillance - A-POS is equipped with a wireless radio interface thatcommunicates status with any of the radio receivers in our portfolio.
