The aluminium toe cap protects the foot and makes the shoe lighter than a steel cap shoe. The soft nail penetration protection makes the shoe extra flexible and comfortable while providing protection against penetrating objects. The shoe has heel cushioning made of the recycled material refoam as well as a gel shank at the arch that relieves the foot during long work shifts on ladders, for example.
