Punched bands

Perforated strip is used for anchoring wooden structures for wind load. Can be used for mounting of ventilation ducts. Perforated strip 1.0x20 and 1.5x20 can be bent and twisted in place while 2.0x25 is primarily intended for use as flat fittings. When a perforated strip is used the rules for edge distance, internal nail distance, etc. in accordance with BKR (the design rules of the Swedish National Board of Housing, Building, and Planning) must be applied. Anchorings should be performed so that their are no loose connections if the woodwork shrinks. The perforated strip should be stretched hard before firmly nailing down.
