gPV cylindrical fuse cartridges are designed to provide compact, safe and economical protection for photovoltaic modules (field protection) with voltages up to 1,500 V DC. They protect against both overload and short circuit (gPV class according to the requirements of IEC60269-6 and UL248-19). They are made of a ceramic tube with high internal pressure and resistance to heat shock, which provides high breaking capacity despite the compact dimensions. The contacts are made of silver-plated copper and the fusible parts of pure silver, to avoid aging and keep the electrical properties intact.

Locked with a fire department lock so that only emergency services can access the switch. Fire brigade switch type NS-SP is included in the enclosure. The switch is supplied with a closing (NO) and a breaking (NC) contact. Emergency stop NS-SP is intended for disconnecting solar panel installations on properties. The solar panels are usually connected to their control equipment via one or more contactors. Very high currents from the solar panels pass over these. In case of fire or other danger, the Rescue Service uses this emergency stop to break the contactors and separate the solar panels.
