They are made of a ceramic tube with high internal pressure and resistance to heat shock, which provides high breaking capacity despite the compact dimensions. The contacts are made of silver-plated copper and the fusible parts of pure silver, to avoid aging and keep the electrical properties intact.

Locked with a fire department lock so that only emergency services can access the switch. Fire brigade switch type NS-SP is included in the enclosure. The switch is supplied with a closing (NO) and a breaking (NC) contact. Emergency stop NS-SP is intended for disconnecting solar panel installations on properties. The solar panels are usually connected to their control equipment via one or more contactors. Very high currents from the solar panels pass over these. In case of fire or other danger, the Rescue Service uses this emergency stop to break the contactors and separate the solar panels.

A wall-mounted electrical cabinet that allows you to connect up to 3 SSOs and an ESS battery to the EnergyHub system. The cabinet can be equipped with either 1 or 2 ESO modules (sold separately). The cabinet has a common 63A DC breaker for all downstream nodes that are also fused with 10x38 1000VDC gPV fuses.

A complete ESS system consists of the following items:

The Fronius Backup Switch is a stationary device for use in public power grids with TN/TT systems. In the event of a grid failure, all connected loads and power-generating devices can be manually disconnected from the public grid in accordance with the grid operator's specifications. The Fronius Backup Switch enables manual switching to the backup power supply. As soon as the public grid is stable again, the Fronius Backup Switch can be used to manually switch back to the power supply from the public grid. The Fronius Backup Switch is required for systems with batteries to enable manual backup power switching.
