gPV cylindrical fuse cartridges are designed to provide compact, safe and economical protection for photovoltaic modules (field protection) with voltages up to 1,500 V DC. They protect against both overload and short circuit (gPV class according to the requirements of IEC60269-6 and UL248-19). They are made of a ceramic tube with high internal pressure and resistance to heat shock, which provides high breaking capacity despite the compact dimensions. The contacts are made of silver-plated copper and the fusible parts of pure silver, to avoid aging and keep the electrical properties intact.

The enclosures are available in standard distribution box version and as combination of thread locking and standard distribution box. The enclosures have complete earth and neutral rails as well as flange openings of size FL21, at bottom and top respectively. To simplify installation the enclosures are also equipped with a number of membrane bushings of size M20, M32 and M40 at bottom beside flange opening. On the side there are prepared piercings of size M12, for mounting of pressure equalising valves that hinder condensation formation.
The distribution boxes are designed for use in accordance with “Handbok för Elinstallationer i Lantbruk" (Handbook for Electrical Installations in Agriculture), edition 2005:1, produced by among others Lantbruket’s Fire Safety Committee, EIO, Elektriska Nämnden and Länsförsäkringar where it is stated that metal encased electric distribution boxes made of stainless steel should be selected first.

The well/known enclosures NK for NORMEL distribution systems, have been developed to provide easier mounting. Enclosures now come in two versions:
- Outer enclosure with closed sides – NKxxxY
- Inner enclosure with openings in the sides – NkxxxI
For a distribution box an outer enclosure is always required, which contains closed side ends for both outer sides of the distribution box. In addition, a number of inner enclosures are required with openings for line laying between the cabinets. These two versions replace enclosures with knockout holes in the sides. I.e that work to break out openings is to be discontinued. For expansion of an existing distribution box an outer enclosure is used (and possibly one or more inner enclosures depending on the size of the expansion). In the side of the existing distribution box and on the new distribution box section opening(s) are made for line laying, for bigger line laying suitable loose side is used with openings - NKSPxxI.

The cabinets are standard models, fitted with 63A meter bay, and customer's power switch with a connection kit consisting of 1 ea 63A 3-phase and 4ea 25A 3-phase 3-phase diazed performance. The groups are connected to terminals, 3 x 16mm² and 12 x 6mm² respectively. In the standard version of the cabinet, you have the option to add on spare power switches, also, 25A a 3-phase group can be changed to the correspond 63A. There is also space to add on additional standard devices. The central part of the cabinet can be switched out with alternative arrangements adapted to standard devices upon request.
