Design:The terminations are pre-fabricated in one piece. Inside the creep resistant heat-shrink tubing, there is a green layer of field control pulp that also serves as a moisture seal. The field control is zinc-oxide; in working mode, it senses the electrical field, while in idle mode, it insulates. The termination is mounted at the top of the slacking. For OXSU with a strengthening kit use the supplied CNTM-hose to strengthen the cable between the bottom edge of the connector and the cable branch where a sealed and jointed cable termination sleeve is installed. The Max slack length for respective kits is decided by the accompanying CNTM-hose.
