Shelly Wall Display X2i is an advanced 6.9" touchscreen for professional control of smart homes and building installations. It provides direct control over lighting, heating, sun protection as well as Sonos and Bluetooth speakers. The X2i is the successor to the Wall Display X2 and is available with a silver or black aluminum frame. It is mounted in a standard EU socket (horizontally or vertically) and requires only 230 V. Alternatively, it can be powered via USB-C for surface-mounted installation.

The device comes with a replaceable base with a built-in 5 A relay for controlling, for example, lighting or underfloor heating. There are also options with a double relay or dimmer module. When the display is connected to Wi-Fi, you get full access to all Shelly devices and can display a Home Assistant panel for third-party control. The X2i has a built-in thermostat function and can control underfloor heating using an external temperature sensor.

The Shelly Wall Display X1i is a 4" touch panel that consolidates the control and monitoring of your Shelly devices in one place. The X1i replaces the original Shelly Wall Display, featuring a faster processor and support for Wi-Fi 6 (2.4 and 5 GHz). It mounts in a standard European wall box (100–240 V~) or can be powered via USB-C if hardwiring is not desired.

A new feature of the X1i is its swappable power base. The panel comes with a base (1 output, built-in 5 A relay) that can be replaced with the Shelly 2-Output Power Base or Shelly Dimmer Power Base (sold separately). Available in Black (black frame/front) and Silver (white front, silver-colored aluminum frame).

Configuration is handled via the Shelly Smart Control app or smart home systems such as Home Assistant, Homey, SmartThings, Google Home, and Amazon Alexa. Shelly devices operate 100% locally.

Use cases

Central room control: lighting, heating, and scenes managed on the panel rather than in the app.
Heating control: built-in thermostat controlled by an external Shelly BLU H&T or BLU H&T Display (sold separately).
Daylight-responsive lighting: built-in light sensor automatically switches lights on/off.
Energy overview: real-time consumption data from Shelly PM devices displayed directly on the screen.
Audio: control Bluetooth/Sonos speakers or use the built-in 1 W speaker for radio and notifications.
Renovation/new construction: replace a standard light switch—the 5 A relay in the base takes over the circuit.

Wi-Fi 6 dual-band (2.4 and 5 GHz). Bluetooth 5.0 acts as a gateway for Shelly BLU devices—no separate hub required. Interchangeable power base: base with 1 output and 5 A relay included. Accessories: Shelly 2-Output Power Base (EAN 3800238072780), Shelly Dimmer Power Base (EAN 3800238072797).

Built-in sensors: light, proximity, and gesture (wakes the screen upon touch/movement). No temperature/humidity sensor—requires an external Shelly BLU H&T or BLU H&T Display (accessory), including for thermostat functionality.

Operates 100% locally without the need for the cloud.
