The DIN bracket is mounted with the Shelly unit side forward, which saves space on the DIN rail, is easily removed/mounted without having to remove the cables first. The bracket ensures approximately 3mm air gap on both sides of the bracket to create heat/air circulation. If you have more Shelly units on the same DIN rail, the bracket always ensures 3mm air gap on both sides. Always follow the manufacturer of the active equipment's recommendations. The bracket clicks on and is easily removed with a screwdriver. The DIN bracket is designed for Shelly units with dimensions (HxWxD): 38 x 43.3 x 16.4 mm. Generally, all Gen3 and Gen4 models fit in this DIN bracket. Shelly 2.5 X1 does not fit in this DIN bracket. For the Shelly MINI series, see other E-no.
