Hood Sundström SR 562

The hood is included together with the battery-powered fan SR 500, SR 500 EX, or SR 700 and approved filters in Sundström's fan-assisted respiratory protection system. The hood's breathing hose connects to the filter-equipped fan. The overpressure created in the hood prevents particles and other contaminants from entering the hood. The hoods can also be used together with the SR 507 compressed air attachment. This combination constitutes a breathing apparatus with continuous flow for connection to compressed air. The equipment can be used as an alternative to filter protection in all situations where such protection is recommended. This is particularly applicable in heavy, hot, or prolonged work.
