Safety transformer Type FR 230-250/24 V encased IP20

1-phase transformer, in design in accordance with EN61558-2-6. Class II, double-insulated. The FR series is based on modern production methods and developed to meet increased requirements for reliability and service life. It is completely cast in self-extinguishing polyurethane with an outer cover of plastic, providing a robust design that withstands vibrations and other mechanical stresses and protects against dirt and moisture. Designed for a 45°C ambient temperature and meets the requirements of DNV. Earthing connection not needed, as the transformer is double-insulated. Standard FR must be protected against overloading and short-circuit with an external fuse.
Application areas:
All FR series transformers are intended for installation in control cabinets. FR-60B, FR78B and FR-84B can be directly installed on a 35mm DIN rail. Often used for power supply to contactors. The plastic enclosure is vibration-tested by Det Norske Veritas for marine applications. No extra covering for the transformer is normally required when installed in a control cabinet. Special designs on request.
