The Fronius Backup Controller is a stationary device for use in public grids with TN-C-S/TN-S systems. In the event of a grid failure, all connected loads and power generating devices can be automatically disconnected from the public grid in accordance with the grid operator's specifications. As soon as the public grid is stable again, the loads and power generating devices are automatically reconnected to the public grid. The Fronius Backup Controller is required for systems with batteries to enable automatic backup power transfer.
