uses: For splicing aluminium and copper wires.
Screw connections up to 36kV. For stranded and solid Al and Cu wires.
The connection with the wire is achieved by tightening the screws until a predefined torque is reached. The tightening is done with a half threaded nut. The correct torque is achieved when the screw is in the right place. It does this through a new reversible torque screw design.

Splicing sleeve and the cable shoe is made of hardened aluminium. The cable shoe plate consists of a copper and screws made of brass. In order to keep in the screw connection when tightening in an simple way, there is the Elpress counterbalance tool ISL2201, E1620103.
