The cable is primarily intended to be used for internal connections in junction cabinets or the like. RQ is a halogen-free, HFFR-insulated, coupling line with a round multi-stranded copper conductor. The cable is constructed according to SS 424 02 31-3 in applicable parts. The conductor has resistance according to IEC 60228 class 5. The insulation is marked "NEXANS GS Z1 SEMKO AREA mm2" or "NEXANS GS SEMKO area mm² HALOGEN FREE". RQ meets fire spread class D. The cable is approved by SEMKO.
