The cable is intended for fixed installation both indoors and outdoors in all types of spaces where there are requirements for function during and after a fire in, for example, emergency lighting, fire alarm systems and control systems. The cable can also be laid directly in the ground. Alsecure Plus is a halogen-free, flame-retardant power cable with round or sector-shaped, few-stranded, annealed copper conductors. The cable is insulated with Mica tape + colored PEX and a screen of copper wires with counter-helix. The cable is constructed according to SS 424 14 18. The conductors have a wire count and resistance according to IEC 60228 class 2. The parts are color-coded according to SS 424 17 20. The sheath is marked with type/manufacturer/year+month/meter marking, color orange. Alsecure Plus meets fire spread class IEC 60332-3 category C (F4C) and does not emit any corrosive gases in the event of a fire and has little smoke development. The cable is approved by SEMKO. LifemarkTM recycling marking: Permanent marking on the cable's outer sheath. The marking specifies the plastic grades used and prepares the cable for recycling.
