Vapour Barrier tape Sitko UV

Sitko UV is a technical and flexible specialty tape developed for the reliable sealing of vapor barriers, airtight layers, and wind protection membranes. The tape offers excellent resistance to temperature fluctuations and can be exposed to UV radiation for up to 24 months without losing its performance characteristics.

The product has been tested and verified for compatibility with the most common wind barrier materials on the market. It is used for both interior and exterior sealing around substrates, windows, doors, and other construction joints where long-term airtightness and weather resistance are required.

The adhesive consists of a UV-resistant polyacrylate adhesive that provides outstanding adhesion, high aging resistance, and a long service life. The backing is made from a high-quality specialty film that neither stretches nor shrinks due to temperature changes, unlike traditional vapor barrier tapes. At the same time, the tape accommodates the natural movement of the building without compromising the seal.
