The product has been tested and verified for compatibility with the most common wind barrier materials on the market. It is used for both interior and exterior sealing around substrates, windows, doors, and other construction joints where long-term airtightness and weather resistance are required.

The adhesive consists of a UV-resistant polyacrylate adhesive that provides outstanding adhesion, high aging resistance, and a long service life. The backing is made from a high-quality specialty film that neither stretches nor shrinks due to temperature changes, unlike traditional vapor barrier tapes. At the same time, the tape accommodates the natural movement of the building without compromising the seal.

UV-resistant polyacrylate adhesive does not absorb moisture, ensuring stable performance even under demanding conditions. Sitko UV can be used in all types of wind barrier systems, regardless of manufacturer.
