The practical coverage depends on many factors such as the porosity and roughness of the foundation and the material loss during application.
Remove dirt, grease, oil, loose rust and all other pollutants from the foundation in a suitable manner.
Polish the existing colour layer, which is in good condition in order to break the gloss and get a slightly coarse surface. The surface must be clean and dry during application. Remove the protective cap. Shake energetically for at least one minute after hearing the ball. Shake continuously during use.
Hold the can at a distance of approx. 25 cm from the foundation. Move the can back and forth in parallel with the base.
Move the can continuously while spraying to avoid running. Apply several thin layers with several pauses in order to achieve sufficient thickness. Turn the can upside down after use and spray the nozzle clean for 2-3 seconds.
For optimal result, the relative air humidity must be under 85% and the temperature of the can must be above 0°C.
Clear colours can need a light coloured primer/intermediate layer.
