EPR-X1.1 PAPR system's A1B1E1 gas filtration is designed to handle the most common respiratory hazards found in industrial welding applications. The filter offers broad gas filtration at a welding grade when working with certain materials such as stainless steel or coated steel. With the integrated P3 particle filter, installation to the EPR-X1.1 PAPR system is as simple as fitting the standard particle filter. There is no need to "stack filters" or worry about incorrect assembly or air leakage. When the filter is mounted on the EPR-X1.1, it automatically locks out all fan speed settings except for the lowest, optimizing the gas filter’s lifespan and efficiency. A safety expert can help you determine appropriate replacement intervals for the gas filter. If no such expert is available, move to a safe location and replace the filter as soon as you can smell or taste gas.

ESAB's new powered air-purifying respirator (PAPR) **EPR-X1.1** is compatible with all ESAB's current fresh air helmets and provides advanced respiratory protection against harmful welding fume particles. This powered air-purifying respirator is designed for applications ranging from occasional use to full-time industrial ones. The EPR-X1.1 offers a robust, compact casing with a powerful fan to ensure maximum lifespan and performance. Easily check your battery status, fan settings, and filter conditions with quick-access status LEDs. Additionally, the powered air-purifying respirator emits audio and vibration alarms to alert the user of low airflow (indicating a necessary filter change) and low battery. The turbo unit of the EPR-X1.1 is controlled with easily accessible push buttons that allow for three airflow speed intervals of 170/190/210 l/min. The EN12941 TH-3P-certified two-stage filter of HEPA quality and the spark arrestor are easily accessible through a detachable front panel.
