LONGi HI-MO 6 Explorer has undergone upgrades in terms of appearance, performance and reliability with high efficiency HPBC cells. HPBC stands for Heterojunction Passivated Back Contact. This type of cell technology combines two different semiconductor materials to create the cell structure. The combination of materials optimizes the conversion of sunlight into electricity, resulting in higher efficiency. Thanks to low LID (Light-Induced Degradation), the power loss per year is minimized, which ensures that you get maximum yield over a longer period. Hi-Mo 6 Explorer also stands for market-leading reliability and pioneered the application of full-back welding technology to effectively improve the modules' resistance to micro-cracks.
