EC fans are very energy efficient and easy to control. They can be controlled speedlessly to match the airflow requirement, potentiometer supplied. For the same air flow, they consume considerably less energy than fans with AC motors. EC motors contribute to large reductions in energy use, especially in speed control. In speed control the energy consumption of the EC motor is much lower than for an asynchronous motor with a corresponding power. Reduced energy use guarantees lower operating costs. The K EC series is intended for duct mounting. All K-fans have at least 25 mm long connection socket. To facilitate installation, the K-fans have pre-assembled mounting brackets as standard. FK bracket makes mounting / disassembly easy and prevents vibration transfer to duct. The fans have backward curved blades and maintenance-free outer rotor motor (EC) and are supplied with a pre-coupled potentiometer (0-10V), factory set to 6-10V. To protect the motor from overheating, the fans have integrated motor protection. The casing is made of galvanized steel sheet and is folded, which provides a close to airtight casing.
