OK 48.05 is a basic, allround electrode for non-alloyed and micro-alloyed carbon-manganese steel with very good welding properties, especially when direct current + pole is used. OK 48.05 provides a tough and crack-proof weld. It has good welding properties even at low weld currents, which is an advantage when welding root strands in pipes, for example.
