Electrode Elga P48M

P 48M is a basic low hydrogen content DC+ electrode suitable for welding high strength low alloyed steel. It is especially adapted for welding in difficult environments and for steel with high impurity levels. The electrode operates with a particularly stable arc and shows no tendency to ''freeze'', even on low current. Root passes can be welded with DC-. P 48M has very good fracture toughness at temperatures down to -40 °C.
