Electrode Elga P48S

P 48S is a basic normal yield electrode designed for direct current welding, + pole. It is specially developed considering the welding properties and has a very soft and stable arc. These features make the electrode user friendly and provide even transitions to the base material in both rod strings and filler strings in all modes. P 48S is a typical all-round electrode and is ideal for pipe welding as well as general constructions. The electrode has low output humidity and slow moisture absorption and is designed for welding of non-alloyed, manganese alloyed and micro-alloyed steel.
