Electrode Esab OK 86.28

OK 86.28 is a nickel-plated, austenitic high-yield type manganese electrode that delivers a heavy-duty, crack-proof welding product that hardens under pressure. The electrode is primarily intended for welding of worn details in 12-14% manganese steel, which are subjected to severe pressure and moderate abrasive wear. Typical applications are crusher plates and rollers, excavator teeth, cones and mantles for rotary crushers, dredger buckets, railroad crossings and so on. OK 86.28 produces stronger and more crack-proof welding than non-nickel alloyed electrodes of the same alloy type. Maximum hardness during cold processing can amount to about 40 HRC. The intermediate stroke temperature should be kept as low as possible.
