The Duty 511 (C) has a 2 mm thick blade of German carbon steel, providing strength and stability in every cut throughout the workday. The carbon steel also makes the knife easier to sharpen, allowing you to reuse it repeatedly. Note that carbon steel can be affected by moisture and corrosive environments, so make it a habit to wipe the knife and oil the blade after use.
