Discs designed for high-pressure applications such as grinding, deburring, edge breaking, blending, and refining. Grade XXCRS is intended for use on mild steel and, according to internal tests, lasts twice as long as competing non-woven abrasive materials while maintaining edge durability and shape stability. For process optimization, grade XXCRS (60+) delivers three times more parts on mild steel compared to competing materials. The Scotch-Brite™ structure consists of fibers and particles bonded into an open, three-dimensional design that continuously exposes fresh abrasive mineral as the disc wears, ensuring consistent results. These discs combine non-woven fibers with 3M precision-shaped abrasive mineral. Suitable for aluminum, mild steel, nickel alloys, and copper. Hook-and-loop attachment allows quick changes, and discs are also available with a center hole compatible with a lock nut or center post for accurate centering.
