The COMBICLICK system consists of a specially developed backing pad and a mounting system on the rear of the tool. With the backing pad, COMBICLICK tools can be used on commercially available angle grinders. The geometry of the cooling slots provides high airflow, which reduces thermal load on both the abrasive material and the workpiece. Compared to conventional tools, the quick-mounting system, the holder, the tool locking function and the integrated cooling system achieve a workpiece temperature that is 30% lower, a 25% higher stock removal rate and a 30% longer tool service life, as well as improved utilization of the abrasive material. PFERD fibre discs are manufactured according to ISO 16057 in form A1 version F under the designation “vulcanised fibre disc" and are used for general grinding work from coarse to fine grinding in industrial and professional applications.
