3M Cubitron 3 Fibre Disc 1187C uses an updated version of 3M’s precision-shaped abrasive grain. The product can increase productivity and reduce total grinding costs compared with other fibre discs and bonded wheels when grinding various metals, including stainless steel and other heat‑sensitive alloys. The disc removes up to 56% more material compared with the 3M Cubitron II Fibre Disc 987C, 36+. It provides high cutting speed and high material removal across a wide range of applied pressures. The disc also contains a coolant that minimizes temperatures in heat‑sensitive alloys. In addition, it is designed to reduce exposure to hand‑arm vibrations, increase efficiency, and complete more parts per disc when grinding with medium to high pressure.
