3M™ PELTOR™ WS™ LiteCom Plus is a hearing protector with a built-in analog two-way radio, allowing communication between headsets and compatibility with similar radio communication systems. It can operate on PMR 446 MHz or LPD 433 MHz frequencies, depending on the product model—both of which are license-free in Europe.

The communication radio can be used completely hands-free when the VOX (Voice Operated Transmission) function is activated. This feature enables the radio to start transmitting when you speak into the microphone and stop when you stop speaking. A traditional PTT (Push-to-Talk) function is also available, allowing you to press a button on the headset each time you want to speak.

The headset features Bluetooth® Multipoint, allowing connection to one or two devices for hands-free calls and audio streaming. The ambient listening function helps the user detect important sounds and signals in the environment and communicate with colleagues—without compromising hearing protection.
