Fire panel ME & MD is a mineral wool panel single-sided and double-sided respectively, coated with Ecomastic 5FR. fire-protection paint. The coating is converted to a ceramic-like shell when it is exposed to high temperatures during a fire and sustains an elastic, waterproof, UV and oil-resistant coating.
Fire panels TE & TD are mineral wool panels, single-sided and double-sided respectively, coated with Novatherm sealant 2FR-E. The exposed side is transformed into a thick foam layer when exposed to high temperatures during fire. The fine pore foam layer effectively suppresses heat flow to the base. In moist environments (RF>75%) Novatherm 2FR-E should be protected with approved topcoat. Both panels are registered in Basta.
