Art. no.: 122925
Used on a wood block and is equipped with a crested thread and flathead. A tie rod.is used for small houses and buildings with maximum two floors. Tie rods should not be used for cavity walls that are.higher than 6m.Dimensioning bearing capacity (safety class 2) for a tie rod in a chunk of wood is as high as 0.58kN (mortar class B).
Mounting: Crested tie rod is nailed directly into the wood stud. A tie rod is pounded perpendicular to.the wall surface so that the gas seepage depth is at least 50mm, i.e., the entire thread enters into the wood stud. 50mm mounting depth + insulation thickness + air gap + at least 40mm anchoring in the cavity wall.
Installation of insulation and cavity wall rods: The outer insulation is installed after the rods are installed in the frame. Insulation is pressed in situ over the tie rods and fastened to the body with one.of the insulation washers no. 9. The washer is installed on the rod and pushed onto the insulation so that it lies against the insulation without squeezing it together. Wall tie into a shell wall. Least anchoring depth in a shell wall should be 40mm.
