These are of the plug-in type and are available in 1P to 4P designs with discharge capacity from 65-40-20 kA, with and without signal contact. They are also available with an integrated Quick iPRD disconnector. The advantage of these is that the disconnector is coordinated with the surge protector, you have everything in the same unit. The protection is available in 1P+N, 3P and 3P+N, with and without signal contact. Type 2 protection can be combined with Type 1 protection in the same enclosure. No inductance is needed between them.
