Pipe freeze protection is used in spaces that are unheated or have a tendency to freeze in winter. The freeze protection cable protects water pipes in summer cottages, wells, work sheds, barns, stables, cold garages, suspended foundations and other spaces or plants. It is completely free from PVC and lead and is therefore the best alternative from an environmental point of view. Approved for both external and internal pipe installation.

The cable is self-regulating and automatically controls the output according to the ambient temperature. It gives somewhat more output in internal installations compared to external and manages to freeze-protect pipes up to 50 mm at -25°C, provided that the pipe has at least 30 mm insulation or is buried at least 50 cm deep. For internal installation, a watertight lead through is used (Part no. 8935000) which is ordered separately. Output: 10W/m at +5°C in metal pipe.

The cable must, irrespective of length, always be connected to 230 V and protected by a 30 mA earth fault breaker. It has a homogeneous self-regulating core for optimum heat conduction. A multi-purpose braid for optimum electrical protection and excellent insulation properties. Plug IP44 and 2 m connecting cable. Approved by Semko for installation in pressurised drinking water pipes.

FrostGuard is complete packaging with ETL-10 self-limiting heating cable for frost protection of pipes, 10 W/m. The casing is PVC-free. FrostGuard can be installed both on and inside water pipes. For internal assembly, the heating cable is supplemented with a T- or Y-connection. The T-coupling also requires a watertight grommet, but this is included in the Y-coupling.The heating cable can also be crossed without risk of overheating.

Delivered in ready lengths, equipped with plug (IP44) and two meter connection cable, installation instructions and universal sign. ETL-10 is a self-regulating heating cable for the freeze protection of pipes, 10W/m. The outer jacket is PVC-free. The installation is simple and the heating cable can be installed both on and inside water pipes. Max installation length: 60 m internally, 100 m externally. ETL-10 is supplied in running metres on a drum, up to 305 m, and can be cut to the exact desired length. Thereafter a connection and termination kit is fitted. The heating cable can also be crossed without any risk of overheating.

ETL-10 is intended for permanent installation with thermostat T2TraceTemp, earth fault breaker and an external sensor. Energy savings can be up to 80% compared with an installation without a thermostat.

For internal installation, the installation is complemented with a T or Y connector. For a T-connector, a waterproof lead through is also required. This is, however, included in the Y-connector. Complement with an earth fault breaker. ETL-10 is the only heating cable available in the market which is S-marked and food-grade approved by SITAC for internal installation in drinking water pipes. It does not release any substances or odd tastes

You can set individual times for up to six separate periods, called events, for each day of the week. Panther is a series of very silent and efficient fan heaters for stationary use. For heating, drying and ventilation of e.g. workshops, sorts halls, shops, gathering venues and drying rooms. Panther is equipped with a 5 - 35ºC thermostat.
The desired output/speed can be set in the control panel, available as an accessory. Several devices can be controlled from the same operation panel.
The motor is a 1-phase model, with ball bearings and equipped with a thermal contact. Panther 6-15 kW has an alarm outlet with the possibility to connect to DUC. Resettable overheat protection. For new production or renovation, Yali Comfort is a fantastically simple alternative for heating the home. Yali Comfort gives a very comfortable indoor climate with its closed heating technique. Electronic thermostat in an analogue version and a mode knob for temperature/operation gives this oilfield radiator a large range of functions that can be easily controlled by the user. The surface temperature can be reduced to 75° C or 60° C, which is perfect in pre-schools or bathrooms. Yali Comfort can be connected to an external wired clock for time-controlled operation. Yali Comfort it is available in versions that 230V and 400V and in a scale from 250W till 1500W, and in heights of 300 mm and 500 mm. Yali Comfort replaces Alata.
Advanced thermostat with precise regulation. Several temperature reduction options: 3.5˚C–15˚C.

FrostGuard-ECO is a plug-in thermostat with a system sensor for use together with the FrostGuard heating cable, for frost guarding pipes. The thermostat has an adjustable settings value (set value) between 0-10 °C. Normally, the set value is set at 3°C. The FrostGuard-ECO enables energy savings of up to 80% in comparison with an uncontrolled system. The thermostat is equipped with an attachment plug and is connected in a grounded electrical outlet. The FrostGuard heating cable is then connected to the thermostat. The FrostGuard-ECO is supplied with an external system sensor with 3-metre attached sensor cable, which cannot be shortened or lengthened. The system sensor is normally placed on the piping, but can even be used as an air sensor, if required.

FrostGuard-ECO is suited for use in apartments, garages, second homes, trailers, in agriculture and gardens, site huts and other temporary installations, frost guarding of condensed water from e.g. heating pumps and cooling devices, but can also be used for the control of other devices which are equipped with electrical plugs. Simple installation: connect the thermostat to a grounded plug, install the sensor and connect the FrostGuard heating cable. Saves energy: provides significant energy saving of up to 80% by way of FrostGuard not being continuously switched on during the winter period. Safety: ensures that the heating cable is not switched on during warmer periods.

Frostvakt 25 has a fitted 4-metre connecting cable with a plug. It can easily be connected to an earthed wall socket. You can use Frostvakt 25 on gutters and drainpipes to melt snow and prevent build-up of ice, but it can also be used in other applications where cold and frost are a problem.
Intelligent heating cable
The cable’s self-regulation means that it will not overheat. Not even if it is crossed to fit the gutter perfectly. The cable adjusts its own output depending on the ambient temperature. It gives maximum output only when needed, i.e. when there is ice and snow. In the parts of the installation where the snow has melted and heat is no longer needed, the cable adjusts its output by up to 50%, which makes it an economical form of freeze protection.
Freeze protection of gutters and drainpipes
Frostvakt 25 is excellent for temporary installations in gutters and drainpipes. You can easily fix it to the gutter with the aid of Ebeco Smartclip R and connect to a 230 V earthed wall socket. Easy to remove when winter is over. For permanent installation, a strain relief connector must be used and the installation must be carried out in accordance with applicable electrical installation rules.
Freeze protection of heat pumps
Frostvakt 25 can effectively be fitted against the plate to prevent condensation water from freezing, which heating cables with a lower output normally cannot manage.
Frost protection of pipes
Frostvakt 25 can be used on the outside of pipes Ø 75 mm or larger. A Ø 110 mm pipe with 20 mm insulation can manage -30°C when protected with Frostvakt 25. For freeze protection of smaller pipes, use Frostvakt 10, which has a lower output.
Freeze protection of properties
For large properties, we recommend a long-term alternative with a permanent installation. Ribbed pipe radiators are very robust and durable. The rough comb flanges provide large heat emitting surface and makes the radiator compact. Equipped with protective grille which provides high level of safety. Comb pipe is approved for wet rooms and can therefore be used in e.g. laundries and dairies. Other application areas are clothes lockers, changing rooms and cycle storage.
Type 127 is even approved for mounting in rooms which are flammable, and are recommended for agricultural usage buildings.
