T2Red is a self-regulating heating cable for floor heating, 5-15W/metre, regulating the surface power output if the floor is insulated by a
carpet or suchlike. This reduces the risk of excessive temperatures at the same time as it is energy-efficient and provides the correct output across the entire room area depending on the conditions. This means that with a cold outer wall the power output increases and with strong sunlight the output decreases. T2Red together with T2Reflecta insulation boards and a timer thermostat can give up to 45% energy savings. The thermal cable is metre labelled. Max connection length 100m/10A, approx. 10 m². For larger areas, use a contactor.
T2Red is a PVC-free heating cable, does not emit any electrical fields and negligible magnetic fields.
T2Red is delivered in running metres on a drum, up to 300 m, and can be cut to the exact desired length. Thereafter a connection and termination kit is fitted. The heating cable can also be crossed without any risk of overheating. Connected directly to the thermostat.
Intended for plastering in levelling filler 10-15 mm for all types of top floors and spaces, e.g. in bathrooms, kitchens, bedrooms, halls and living rooms. In dry areas T2Reflecta insulation boards can be used, 13 mm: floating floor for wood, laminate and plastic carpeting. For clinkers, the boards must be attached with T2Reflecta adhesive. The upper side of T2Reflecta insulation boards is covered with T2Reflecta P-fix primer, thereafter an optional C2F-fix is used to attach the clinker tiles. Alternatively, the clinker tiles can be attached directly using T2Reflecta adhesive.
