TL 80C dBs is a complete wall vent with an internal part, noise-reducing wall duct, filter cassette, and external grille. TL C is the wall vent with extra effective condensation protection and adjustable air intake. The noise-reducing wall duct consists of a sound-absorbing wall pipe, an excellent choice for those disturbed by noise from outside the house. The sound-absorbing pipe is easy to cut to the correct length with a utility knife. The smart design of the wall vent brings in fresh air and provides a pleasant distribution in the room while reducing the risk of cold drafts. Outdoor air is let in both upwards and to the sides. The air then mixes very effectively with the room air and quickly reaches a comfortable temperature. The airflow is easily adjusted with a precision control hidden under the cover.

Installation and Placement
Fresh air vents are installed in bedrooms, living rooms, offices, and other rooms that need fresh air. A rule of thumb for getting the right amount of air is to have one wall vent in each bedroom and two in the living room. In some cases, the number of wall vents needs to be increased, for example, if several people sleep in the same room or if the total living area is larger than usual. The device is intended for almost all types of rooms with natural ventilation or fan controlled exhaust air ventilation It reduces the risk of draft and prevents severe cooling and freezing damage in cold weather.
Thermo cassette E9302474 is used for upgrading from manual to Thermostat-controlled wall vent.

Manual version:
The device is variably controlled by a lever with distinct positions for open vent and closed vent.

Automatic version:
The device automatically controls the intake air according to variations in the outside temperature. The thermostat’s sensor body sets the shutter in the vent. At -5°C the damper is completely closed and at +10°C completely open.

TL DE comes standard with condensation protection, storm protection, and is also paintable. The vent has a telescopic function of 185-340mm; for thicker walls, extend with modular pipes. Installation/Placement The vent is placed high up on the wall, approximately 220 cm from the floor or with the top edge of the vent at least 10 cm from the ceiling.

The vent is excellent for use with underfloor heating. In this case, place the vent at least one meter from the window to prevent cold drafts due to cold radiation through the window. The vent should be placed directly above the heating element. This utilizes the rising heat from the radiator, known as convection current. Comfortable air distribution The air distribution is carefully developed; the vent releases air upwards and to the sides.

The outside air mixes very effectively with the room air, and just a few decimeters from the vent, the incoming air has reached a comfortable temperature. Storm protection saves energy Regardless of the weather, the storm protection slows down high airflows, which contributes to lower heating costs compared to a traditional vent. The storm protection provides good comfort in the room and reduces the risk of drafts.

Filter and maintenance Maintain good indoor air quality by regularly changing and maintaining your filters. To ensure good air quality and maintain flow, the filter should be cleaned or replaced one to two times per year. The standard filter is washable; use a mild soap solution. The pollen filter and electrostatic filter should be replaced with new ones. The filter is mounted in a filter holder behind the front. The front can be easily folded up for access to the filter holder. When using the electrostatic filter, the filter holder is replaced and cannot be combined with storm protection.

The flow is regulated with the front, which has a mechanism for changing the opening angle. The front opens at the top and directs the air upwards, providing a comfortable distribution pattern even with underfloor heating.

Sound-reducing: The sound-absorbing wall duct consists of a sound-absorbing pipe instead of a standard wall pipe. The sound-absorbing pipe is easy to cut to the correct length with a utility knife. Standard pipe length is 360 mm.

The distribution pattern is carefully developed to suit underfloor heating systems; the vent directs the air upwards and to the sides.
