In IR mode, you can measure temperature at up to two metres distance from the target and scan ventilation ducts at a greater distance without a ladder. Measurements are made easier by the laser sight. A single laser point indicates the measurement area’s approximate midpoint. The further away you are from the measurement area, the larger it becomes.

For the measurement of, for example outer temperature on radiators, locate thermal bridges, measure current carrying conductors and hard to reach objects, etc. A sensor can also be connected to Testo 830-T2 to measure air, gas and water. On surfaces where IR cannot be used, an external temperature sensor can be used. Supplied with 1 9V battery.
830-T1: With a laser pointer that shows the centre of the measurement area. External temperature sensor cannot be connected.
830-T2: An IR sensor that also has an input for conventional temperature sensors. Equipped with a two-point laser sight, which clearly indicates the size of the measured surface. With an air sensor, it can quickly measure air temperature. Even hot tap water can be measured.
