The D-tect 120 Professional locating instrument is an intuitive radar scanner designed for almost all materials. Spot measurement provides accurate location on narrow surfaces, while Center Finder shows the exact location of the object's center. Additionally, the Dual Power Source technology allows usage with both a 12 V lithium-ion battery or standard alkaline batteries. The GMS 120-27 Professional multidetector helps you locate metal, live wires, and wooden studs in drywall. Locating objects in walls before drilling increases safety, especially for tradespeople performing renovations and installing cabinets, countertops, sinks, water heaters, heating systems, air conditioning, or sprinkler systems. This multidetector not only identifies the center of the detected object but also indicates material properties, such as whether the object is magnetic or not, if it is a live wire, or if it is non-metallic.
