With the help of our smart storage solutions, we can create a fully automatic storage facility. What you collect from the shelves is automatically registered and a replenishment order is created and sent digitally to Ahlsell when the stock level has reached a predetermined level.

As part of our smart storage solution, we build the storage facility with weighing technology using special shelves with built-in digital scales. Weight changes, with an accuracy of 1 gram, are registered as an action and the stock balance is automatically updated in the system’s cloud service.
The shelves are available in four variants, with 1, 4, 6 or 8 integrated scales. In addition, half and full pallet scales are available for larger products or volumes. The shelves can be placed on top of existing shelving equipment or built up as a complete solution. A smart storage system can have an unlimited number of items/scales.

Open storage – how it works

Strategically place the storage facility where your employees can easily collect the products they need without having to identify themselves. Consumption is registered and the system automatically creates replenishment orders so that products are always available on the shelves.

Controlled storage – how it works

The storage facility is located in the premises where your employees gain access by identifying themselves via the integrated access control system. Employees collect the products they need, and when they leave, they can check the withdrawal and register any labels. Consumption is registered and the system automatically creates replenishment orders so that products are always available on the shelves.
